Payload Dumper Guide

This guide tells you how to pull boot image from payload.bin files, in recovery rom zip files, using Payload Dumper.

The recovery rom files can be found in the device group's notes by typing /recovery <device codenae>.

Download payload dumper from your respective group's notes or channels, wherever they may be.

Instructions on how to pull images will be available inside that zip file.

But read on anyway. It's very simple.

1) Extract the payload.bin file from recovery rom, inside the payload_input folder.

2) And then run payload_dumper.exe

A command window will open up and all images will be pulled from payload.bin file, into the payload_output folder.

Right when you see the word "boot" appear on the command window, after about 5 seconds, you can safely close the command window because there is no need of any other image.

Boot image is all you need in order to root. But if you are a Professional, and know what you're doing, you can pull other images as well.
